Your journey continues with trips to legendary cities such as Venice and Verona, as well as a relaxing visit to Lake Como, one of Europe's most historic resorts.

Day 6: Today we're Venice-bound. On the way, stop at Bologna, the famous University town, with it's many Epicurean delights. You'll also stop at Padova for a visit to the Scovengi Chapel, home to some of Giotto's frescos and The Saint's Basilica, a pilgrimage church dedicated to Saint Anthony.

Day 7:Welcome to Venice! Your private guide will escort you through this maze of antiquity, where you will visit St. Mark's Square, The Basilica and Doges Palace. If you wish, take a motor launch for a visit with the artisans of Murano and Burano for glass and linens.

Day 8: Today you'll take an unforgettable trip through the countryside to see villas by Andrea Palladio. His magnificent architecture has influenced the art world since the 16th century.

Day 9: You're ready to explore the lake region. But first stop at the town of Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet." Enjoy a walk past the Roman Arena before traveling on to Lake Garda's charming resort town of Sirmione. Arrive at Lake Como one of Europe's most historic resorts.

Day 10: Spend the day as you wish—take a scenic drive along Lake Como to Switzerland's Lugano or a drive west to Lake Maggiore to visit the Borroemean Islands.

Day 11: Transfer back to Milan Airport. Ciao!
